To me, reading through part two felt like meditating successfully for a prolonged period. I have tried different exercises in this part for myself, and they actually worked. I used to feel anxious due to stress from work, but now I know how to end my anxiety through exercises in “Overthrowing Anxiety”. At the very end of part three, Christian shares some of his thoughts about prescribed medicines. He is not a big fan of traditional medicines due to their side effects, so there is not a medication recommendation in his book. However, the author encourages those who are taking medication to seek professional advice from their doctors before getting off their drugs.
